Escape; 02.17.08

This was shot with a Sony HC 28. No effects were added, although the DV tape I was using had some defects. This resulted in a scratchy, jumpy resolution during the surfing segment that almost looks like old film.

I'm still practicing with narration and story telling. I'm not sure I'm entirely happy with how it's coming along, though. Either I will keep at it until I've got it right or I'll figure out another way to say the things I want to. Trial and error, you know? I do like how the film has a beginning, middle and end, but the execution could have been better. Oh well...
